In a world that is constantly shouting it seems silly to have something to say
My voice is small and will never rise above the fray
And so I just sit here bombarded by sound
Convinced that my silence can turn things around
They say silence is golden so what do you do
In a world full of adverts all aimed straight at you
Just bite your tongue, stay quiet, don't mind the cost
Don't think of the art you could make that is lost
Because you believed you had nothing to add
In a world that's too noisy, in a world that's gone mad
But out there's a corner that's for you to play
To create, to explore, to have something to say
